Facing shifting public expectations driven by economic and political uncertainty, Manitoba’s arts community needs a clear way to explain why arts and culture matter — and why sustained public investment is essential.

Led by Inga Petri of Strategic Moves, this keynote and workshop will outline how to think boldly about the future of the arts in Manitoba and what your role can be.

The presentation will explore the gap between artistic and cultural value, community impact, and economic reality, while framing the arts as essential public infrastructure rather than discretionary activity.

The workshop portion will then take those ideas to form practical language and action for participants to bring to their communities, funders, partners and decision-makers.
